“Rolled” or Rounded Curb Driveway

Recommended Ramp Style

Best for: rolled curbs at the end of your driveway

Also works for:

  • angled driveway entries where the street meets the base of the driveway (no rolled curb)
  • harsh transitions from roadwork, like deep gutters, dips, or drop-offs causing steep entry angles

Steep Driveway w/ Threshold or “Lip”

Recommended Ramp Style

Best for: small thresholds or lips (1–4″) at the edge of the driveway or garage.

Flexible Configurations

  • Mix and match different sizes to create custom setups.
  • Ramps can be placed back-to-back if you need to come up from the gutter or ease into the driveway.
  • The 1″–1.5″ options work great for smoothing out garage lips or minor bumps.

Drop-Offs & Ridges

(High-Centering / Straddling)

Recommended Ramp Style

Best for: Abrupt drop-offs from the street into the driveway, as well as steep driveway entries into the garage where the surface levels off suddenly and causes the vehicle to high-center or straddle a ridge.

Common signs this applies to your driveway:

  • The front or rear clears, but the middle of the car scrapes
  • The vehicle gets hung up at the peak as the driveway levels out
  • Scraping happens after the tires are already on the driveway
  • Low-clearance cars struggle over ridges, crests, or raised transitions

French Drain & Valley Transitions

(Driveway to Garage)

Recommended Ramp Style

Best for: Steep declines from the driveway into the garage—especially where a French drain, channel drain, or valley causes the front end to scrape.

Also works for:

  • Drain channels or valleys that create a sharp drop just before the garage
  • Steep driveway-to-garage transitions where the front end or mid-section scrapes as the suspension compresses

Steep Driveways – No Lip

Recommended Ramp Style

Best for: steep entries or mid-driveway angle changes—especially where there’s no rolled curb or visible lip.

Also works for:

  • slight 1″ lips or harsh transitions where a small lift helps prevent scraping.
  • raises the front end just enough to smooth out steep approaches and tough angles.
