Q: Will these ramps work for my situation?
A: These ramps work in a variety of situations, but the three main use cases are:
1) Driveway and garage entries with a lip or threshold
Measure the height of your driveway lip and choose the ramp height that matches most closely. This smooths out the bump and reduces scraping, but depending on your slope and car clearance, you may need an additional setup for more lift — see below (2) Dual-Ramp Setups.
2) Dual-ramp setups (for steeper transitions)
If you have a 2″ rise but find that a single 2″ gutter ramp isn’t enough to keep your front end from scraping — or if the scraping happens after you cross the lip onto the driveway — a combo setup is ideal. Ex →

Together, they form a smooth bridge over the low spot and lift your vehicle evenly through the transition.
3) Garage entry “valleys” or steep declines (e.g., over drains or dips)
In these situations, two sets of ramps can be placed back-to-back to form a bridge across the low area, preventing your front end from nose-diving on entry or exit. For example, 3″ H — 36 x 18″ or 2.5″ H — 42 x 24″ ramps work great for this type of setup.
Another good option for these setups is our modular low-clearance ramps, which are designed specifically for steep garage transitions and ridges.
Q: What is your return policy?
Customers may return ramps within 30 days of purchase. Ramps must be in good condition, used only for initial testing, and repackaged in the original packaging. A 10% return fee applies to all returns (includes a 3% processing fee and a 7% shipping/handling offset). This helps cover a portion of the carrier costs for these heavy items, even when “free shipping” was provided. For return instructions, please contact us at curbramp.us@gmail.com. Once your return has been dropped off with the carrier (or picked up, if applicable), let us know and we’ll process your refund minus the 10% fee.

Start by noting where your car makes contact — drive up until it scrapes, then check where your tires are. That’s where the ramps should go. Most often, this is in the street gutter, but the ramps work in a variety of setups. For lips, common options include the 40 x 10 x 2.5″ ramp or pairing it with a 1″ taper, a popular choice for smoothing garage thresholds. ← These diagrams show common driveway ramp setups for entries with or without a lip or threshold, using 1-, 2-, or 3-piece configurations. Layouts are examples and not to scale—the right setup depends on your vehicle’s clearance and driveway angle.
The key is tire placement: note where your car begins to scrape—that’s where the ramps go. For 3-piece setups, use rubber sections (1″, 2″, or 2.75″) to bridge gaps or widen the ramp as needed. Sections can also be trimmed for a custom fit.

Return Policy
