A good weekend project. It took me about an hour for 3 kits – between the mixing, shaping out the ramp and doing cleanup. I was a little worried about it raining overnight so I did it in the morning. It actually starts to set up pretty quickly so I would say just be ready to lay it down once you mix it. If you let it sit there for too long I imagine it would be harder to spread and may not bond as well. I am actually impressed with how it feels when it sets up. It gives a nice cushion for my car now and really makes a difference!

This stuff cures pretty fast and when it dries it is very solid almost like a track surface. I used a mixing tub from Home Depot to mix the adhesive with the compound. It worked really well but the drill mix flung some of the contents out and I had to do some cleanup in my garage after. Nothing bad though. I would just say mixing with a trowel might be easier. Or use a deeper bucket if you’re using a drill mix. All in all I think this is a good option for people with non-standard curbs where the premade ramps don’t fit.

I would recommend this product. There’s really nothing else like it out there for deep curbs where premade ramps don’t fit. I had my landscape guy install it and it turned out great.

One of the cans of adhesive leaked en route and made a mess inside the box. They sent me a replacement, but they could do a better job of stressing just how strong that stuff is. I got some on my garage floor and can’t get it up. I will tell you, you don’t want to get it anywhere unintended – garage, hands, etc. That said, my wife likes it better now backing out of our steep driveway in her van because it no longer scrapes. But she didn’t have to “mess” with the installation part, so overall mixed feelings here.

We had our driveway replaced just over a year ago. It was a major endeavor, was quite costly but it looked great. There’s just one problem, the driveway is too tall. There’s a 4″ drop from the driveway to the street.

I looked at having the contractor come back out to fix it but that was costly and might not hold up (due to the narrow side of the cement they would use being prone to crack off).
