I’m happy with the results overall. It has made entering and exiting my driveway much smoother. The only slight drawback is that it took a bit longer to mix and spread the driveway curb filler than I anticipated. It was also a little messier than I thought it would be and had a hard time getting the glue off my hands, but if you wear gloves you should be fine. However, once installed, the ramp has performed flawlessly. Thanks Scott for all the help with estimations on this project!

This stuff cures pretty fast and when it dries it is very solid almost like a track surface. I used a mixing tub from Home Depot to mix the adhesive with the compound. It worked really well but the drill mix flung some of the contents out and I had to do some cleanup in my garage after. Nothing bad though. I would just say mixing with a trowel might be easier. Or use a deeper bucket if you’re using a drill mix. All in all I think this is a good option for people with non-standard curbs where the premade ramps don’t fit.

I love my ramp. First, I used a steel plate. It made so much noise every time someone use my driveway as a turn around point and whenever I drove my 911 over it. It’s been down for a year, with some of the worse rain and hottest summer we’ve had in years. It was easy to install. I just ordered another bucket of glue so that I can change the color from black to something close the the color of the sidewalk by putting down the glue and sprinkling light coat of cement over it. We had our driveway replaced just over a year ago. It was a major endeavor, was quite costly but it looked great. There’s just one problem, the driveway is too tall. There’s a 4″ drop from the driveway to the street.
